Workshop

What the Workshop Will Cover:

The workshop will also explain what racism is, its history and the functions it serves, and to whom.

We will discuss the close relationship between racism and capitalism

and how it has been used to dehumanize others and divide the working classes.

We will discuss why racism continues, and the ways ordinary people are pushed to want to believe the words of demagogues during times of economic hardship. We will discuss the origin of scapegoating others for society’s ills, and who benefits.

We want to unveil all the tricks used to deceive and divide us.

We will teach you the terminology you need to know.

We will discuss pseudosciences, as well as past studies and social experiments.

We will read from statements made by victims of racism, even current political prisoners.

There will be opportunities for people to share their stories so that others can hear their testimonies, and we wish to build on this and form a support group for life.

Online Workshop Duration: 3 hours (w/20 min. break)

On the Berlin tour, we will have the benefit to also take you around the city and explaining several locations and their history in relation to racism, Anti-Semitism, and present-day Islamophobia. (Berlin Tour 3.5 hours)
